Coach course information

ASSISTANT COACH. The only fixed date is 5th & 6th April 2008 at University of Birmingham. Other dates & places will be arranged throughout the year.

COACH. At present we will only accept persons who have passed th A.C. course or who are club coaches in other disciplines.

CLUB COACH  Bob Burlton will try to organise one if there is enough registered interest.

H.P.C. First one in the West Midlands is to be in Birmingham 6th, 7th & 8th + 13th,14th & 15th of June 2008

REMINDER. Coaches please remind your members who have not taken their exams they only have a limited time before they would have to resit the courses. Level 1 & 2 6 months, Level 3, 12 Months, Level 4, 18 Months

Improvements to Competition Entry
To make the process easier for clubs and organisers, a changed entry process is to be trialled. Hopefully this will eliminate cases of competitors being entered in the wrong age groups, with misspelt names etc.
Each club will be sent a listing of all their registered competitors with names, date of birth and current grade. Any competitors missing (e.g. those individually or recently registered with BG) can be added to the bottom of the list which once checked will be added to our database.
To enter competitors, the clubs only have to highlight the name of the person entering, correct any errors and send it back.
We would like your feedback after using the process so our Chair can carry thoughts forward to the competition working party meeting to be held in March.
